The Sunday Club at St James’s welcomes children of all ages, from school age to year 5/6. We also invite younger children (3-4yrs) to participate in craft activities or music and drama wherever possible. Parents are invited to accompany their children initially, but are then welcome to join in our main service once the children have settled in. We begin each session at 9.30am and join the congregation at 10.15am for a blessing.

We try and follow the Church Calendar as far as possible including Old and New Testament Lessons. Our sessions include prayer, Bible reading, music, drama, craft activities, singing and games.

Each month we join the All Age Service (on the third Sunday of the month at 11am) and sometimes give an informal presentation of song, drama, artwork or prayer.
We break for the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays.

We have a child protection policy whereby all our helpers are made fully aware. All helpers are DBS checked.

Helpers are always welcome! All are welcome to come and join in.

Please note that there is no Sunday Club on the fourth Sunday of the month, or fifth Sundays when they occur.
