The Sunday Club at St. James’ welcomes children of all ages, though most of our current members are primary school age. Parents are invited to accompany their children initially, but are then welcome to join in our main service once the children have settled in.
We meet in the St. James’ Community Hall on the SECOND Sunday of the month and begin each session at 10.30am when the Church service starts and join the congregation around 11.10am for the latter part of the service.
On the FOURTH Sunday of the month we join with our friends from across the Benefice at the 4pm Children’s Church (still held at Birstwith) in the St. James’ Community Hall. This is an informal service aimed at our young people, with refreshments, videos, singing and dancing and is open to all.
We break for the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays. We have a child protection policy in place and all helpers are DBS checked. Helpers are always welcome! All are welcome to come and join in.
